This is Stenella Frontalis (Atlantic spotted Dolphin) in bimini, I broke many rules to get this shot but I do believe that it was well worth it. Rules are ment to be broken. Here we have camera blur, out of focus and in focus. Note the dramatic effect of blur on the face of the water (as looking UP at the surface while underwater) This sureal view has always amazed me and been a huge source of inspiration. The film is tmax 400 iso shot at 100 iso and processed in DR5 and this is full frame. The 2 playful dolphins in the back was very interested in what we was doing. This was shot in the moring around 9-10 am which is very suprising for an encounter of this nature.

...turned it upside down it would look like the dolphins were jumping out of the water!
