I too went "yikes" this weekend when I stepped on the scale...I need to get my fat arse off the damn couch and outside.

I'm in....but I'm not a "diet-er" my plan is to eat the same stuff...just less of it.

I topped in at 265 (the heaviest I've ever been) over the weekend.

GREAT!!!
You guys are added to the list.
How much weight can scuba board lose in one week? I can't wait. Or is that weight?
LOL
OK. I'll be back in a few hours.. to add more I hope.

Yes! Share with us.

Pretty straight up. I've revamped my eating style to not have one or two meals a day in it, but instead like 5 or 6 smaller meals. I also take a vitamin that has a mix of vitamins itself and herbs and since I am male, I get the one geared towards men. I've also added an HGH Precursor called Secretagogue - that has done wonders in a lot of ways as I have the energy and mental sharpness that I had when I was 21! Water ingestion is a must as it helps flush out your body, sodas were totally cut with the exception being when the soda is cut with something like rum ;)

Now, thats just the nutritional portion. From the other side of the spectrum comes my time at the gym and diving. On a good week I've hit the gym 5 times, on a bad week 2 times. I do a 30 minute cario warm up then have a weight circut that helps me work on my bad shoulder as well as strength and toning all over.

In regards to diving, I notice that I feel little or no fatigue after a dive. Infact, because my body is geared into physical challenge mode again, I feel refreshed after a dive and ready to another one as soon as I can.

My typical eating habit follows this pattern:

-between 7&8am one of the following is eaten: banana/apple, cereal, yogurt
-between 10 & 10.30am: one of the 3 options not chosen initially
-between12 & 12.30pm: Tuna fish with some low fat ranch dressing, onions, sliced grapes, and walnuts. Eaten with saltines, not bread.
-2-3pm: whatever is left out of the banana/apple, cereal, yogurt options
-6-7pm: light dinner

I have made habit of consuming at least one half gallon of water daily with little or no consumption of caffine. I also indulge some at night and will have pop corn or ice cream for desert... but I always end up sharing some with my son who just loves both of those options.

Something else I noticed is that while I feel hungry, I dont get dizzy hungry like I used to from low blood sugar.

If anyone is interested in the vitamin I take or where to get the secretagoge I can post it here or PM it.

And I thought of giving ourselves 20..single dollar bills to start with..and either adding or taking away a dollar for every pound..and in the end buy a scuba present for ourselves.

Then after thinking of all that.. I thought maybe we could just let all be free..and not need anything other then, each other, for an incentive.

My reward was my scuba gear. Got it after I lost 10% of my origional weight. Just waiting to get it in at the LDS. SHould be this week.

My true reward, I feel a lot better-- healthier. Other rewards are complimants received from people that I never though noticed.

My wife is very supportive with this. She almost has to since I do most of the cooking ;)

What timing, I just got back from a long-weekend, mini vacation where we did nothing but eat our way through San Francisco. This morning, I was thinking that I needed to atone for my vacation binge and go back to watching what I eat and increasing my exercise. I could definitely stand to lose a good 25 lbs, so please count me in!

Can I still join!
I have about 10 lbs. that I would like to get rid of!
I am currently at 160. I am trying to make healthier choices
when I eat, limit myself on fast food, and am trying to excercise
3-4 times a week, which includes walking on my treadmill, lifting
weights to get rid of arm flab, and sit-ups. It is hard to get this 10lbs.
off, so maybe with supporting each other it will make it easier.

Plus I am heading down to Florida at the end of the month for some diving! Would be nice to feel more confident in my wetsuit.

I was a very bad girl this weekend. I don't want to see all of my previous efforts lost...

this is perfect, i've been needing to get motivated to start losing weight again and was psyching myself up to make a salad tonight...
