Alright...put me on the list. I really like the concept of mutual support for workout goals and would like to be a part of it. I weigh 172 and am 5'10. I like talking about health and exercise and would like to help where I can.

Scuba_Jenny:
Weigh in today at 1**. Goal for the next 2 months is to drop 10 pounds. Really would like to shoot for 20lbs., but I have been so disappointed in myself trying to drop weight that I am setting my goal a little lower-and easier to reach.
Today so far, Coffee with a teaspoon of sugar, swig of fat free milk and am munching on a granola bar now. Lunch is a garden burger with cheese and Ms. Dash, haven't decided on the bun yet, Dannon fat free yogurt (the little one ) and an apple later on. Lots of water, and maybe a diet/caffiene free Coke. Dinner still undecided

A few pointers to help....
-Splenda is a sugar alternative sweetner. zero calories, less than 1 carb. Good stuff.
-Walden Farms makes a bunch of products that are 0 fat, 0 calories, 0 carbs. BBQ sauces, salad dressings. Some of them take a little getting used to, and might be a little "runny". But when you consider 200 calories of fat in a ceaser salad from dressing alone - its easy to shave off some w/o sacrificing much of the taste.
-Brocolli and Asparagus are low on the glycemic index and fairly high in fiber.

rjens and bwerb..
I added you both. But if you're really not striving to get healthy, (and already are at your ideal weight) maybe you should only post on the support thread?

OK 'Tasha....count me in too!! When will our weigh in be??? I also do WW on Thursday nights!!

Cool.. I'm weighing Thursday too. So report back with the drop in weight next Thursday and we'll add them all up, the with Tuesday people.!

Natasha:
How many people want to jump on the wagon here and take the scuba board weight loss challenge?

Let's see how much weight scuba board members can lose in 2 months.
We'll weigh in on Monday and post our weight loss, or gain, every Monday for 2 months.

Buy your scales this weekend!
Who's joining?

:balloon

Am I too late? If not, I'd like to participate. I weighted myself just yesterday - 212

Rick

Didn't even notice this thread until today (4/6), but count me in. I've been doing WW for close to 14 months and have gone from 251.4 (love those WW 1/10ths) to 217.4 on Saturday. 34 lbs. Which, unfortunately puts me back down to where I was about 6-7 months ago! For someone with my build, male, 6'2", I wasn't going to see the 155-187 range ever again. That's where I was 15-20 years ago in college on the crew team and working out 2(+)hrs/day, 6days/week (and eating anything I wanted, too).

I just had another physical and got a REAL goal weight from my doctor: 205 lbs.

Two more months should put me very close to that.

Count me in!

-Rob

Something I'd like to note.. one of my clients is a Fitness Center and the owner puts out weekly news letters. Most of these letters I've posted so far have something about managing nutrition in it. He also has a great sense of humor and it slides into his communications, and once you read a letter or two you can easily pick out the little jokes and the serious information. They can be found at: www.fortmyersfitness.com and click on the link for Eds Corner.

ok, fine, me too... whatever.... :) Tired of being tired, can't fit in my clothes and can't figure out how my husband is still even remotely interested. Goal is 60#.... yikes... I guess I'll start as soon as I finish lunch.... (sheepish grimace)....

Now that I'm in... (if I am) which thread has the guidelines, rules and regs??? :) wow... I love this board!
