Could we please get this thread pinned so that we don't lose it. A title modification to make it more obvious that it involves our Meet and Greet would be a nice touch as well :) .

Thanks a bunch! :D

You're welcome a bunch :D

I vote not the weekend of the 21-22, BTW.

I put a poll in the thread. You should be able to select both a date and a location if I did it right.

You are so good! You should consider an appointment as a Moderator.

First of all where we go isnt an issue as per all spring meet n greets The GLWC Bunk house will be there with full power as always. Hopefully if things work out with new and improved power source. So picking a place just for electricity shouldnt restrict your choice.

And as per usual woman have rights to running water with flush toilets in forementioned Bunk house. Men have to use 2nd tree on left. So restroom facilities shouldnt limit your choice.

bunkhouse reservations start now. So get your bid in early. as per usual I will be doing the usual accepting of palm greasing to gain a reservation to bump somone out if all spots are full. The standing members and you know who you are of bunkhouse still have their standing reservation. unless otherwise noted to me that they wont be needing it or unless you lose your spot to "Benjamin Franklin"

For those with limited space that would rather bring more dive gear but will be bringing food that needs to be prepared dont worry about bringing your grill and propane and other accessories. the bunkhouse has fully functional kitchen. Not to mention John "mitten diver" Always brings a big Grill and I bring a grill also.
PLus the bunkhouse has a refriderator for the food that needs to be kept cold. So dont pack the big cooler if you dont need it. Pack the extra tanks.

As mentioned in previous threads If your fresh out of OW and never dove since dont worry come and join us if you have 2000 dives come join us. If you dive wet come join us. You got new something from santa and havent used it yet or cant figure out how to use it come join us. Got new dry gloves definatly come join us our dry glove specialist will be there. You dont dive at all but came across this site and wonder what all the hoopla is about come join us. Every one in this group are fantastic people they will help you with anything or question you might have. I and anyone else in this group will dive with any experience level so dont let your lack of experience stop you from coming. Water to cold for you? still come meet us and find some new dive buddies for when the water is warm enough for you.

Finally and most important BRING YOUR APPETITE!!!! I would recommend not eating at least 2 to 3 days prior to Meet and greet.

I voted for May 11-13 at Gilboa. It just makes it a tad more comfy (temp wise) for those that are diving wet. ;)

I really dont mind when we go I would conform to the crowd but our meet and greets have a tendency to take over Gilboa. The later in the year we get the less chance we will have to have room for everyone as the crowds will start showing up. The April time frame has always worked well since we basically have the place to ourselfs. which works well. Since Brian gets into the captn and well it might get ugly to non scuba board members. ehheheeh just kidding you Brian. good to see your alive I was wondering how you were doing?
