Mine arrived today. Factory dive 5/22, currently 82% battery. They went to over 600 feet this time, my others were to 300ish. That was unique I think.
Mine just came in, and the factory dive was also over 600 feet. What is the factory dive, just a QA run in a chamber?

Hi @Rearviewmirror

I've had 2 antenna failures. I discussed the topic with Richard at Dive-Tronix. Apparently, most antenna failures are thought to be due to trauma, as the connection of the antenna to the circuit board is/was tenuous. Neither of my Terics had any trauma, just abruptly quit working.

I rinse my Teric is water that is room temperature or just slightly above.

Good luck with your replacement Teric. Have you voted in the other Teric thread, link above?

Yup - Richard asked me that but I had never slammed/dropped my Teric. If this one fails I honestly hope they'll offer ME a Perdix as a replacement. I bought the Teric primarily for the form factor and AI, but not having reliable AI has kind of made it feel like a "dumb" computer.

And yes - I have voted!
I had a discussion with Dive-Tronix. The connection of the antenna to the circuit board was improved and made stronger. They have not seen AI antenna failures since.

I received a replacement Teric on Tuesday. My factory test was also performed May 22. It was done at 3:11 pm to 668 ft. Were either of your factory tests done at the same time/depth/dive time?

Does anyone know what the red line on the depth graph is? I just don't remember seeing it before and don't find anything in the manual.

Yes, same day and I believe that is deco.

Ha, I should have known that. Only about 5% of my dives are light deco, I'm sure I've seen the red line in the on board log. Shows up red at the top of the Shearwater Cloud download too.

Thanks

Mine is May 22 (of 2018), 2:00 pm to 674.2 ft.

Actually, I think that is the Average Depth.
Avg depth for the factory dive was 208 ft, seems way off scale for that. As I don't have any dives on this new computer, I can't go back and look. I don't remember generally seeing the red line.

The user's manual does not show a red line and does not mention it
