I just got back from Cayman and was using my S600/MK25. It was the first time I had used it. I found it to be rather wet breathing. I played around with "knobs", and this did help slightly, but not to my satisfaction. When i inverted to take some pictures, I almost choked. Is this typical of this reg, or is there something internal that is off. I take very good care of my equipment, rinsing thoroughly, etc. any advice?

It is not normal. Do a vacuum check to confirm the leak and then go hunting for it (or have it fixed). Poor sealing exhaust valve or diaphragm are the prime candidates but could even be caused by a damaged case or faulty case o-ring..
