Lets just see what dives are planned that weekend before i commit to it. Plans have changed somewhat, will keep the date in mindReneeC:Simon - why aren't you coming!
Damn.. missed the Central Florida one by 2 weeks and it looks like I'll miss this a few days. I'll be in Palm Beach Gardens from Sunday the 12th - Thursday the 16th. By the 19th I'll be back in cold Chicago trying to remember just why i live here.ReneeC:Greetings All!
After reading about the successful meet & greet held by the Central Florida SBers, it seems like a great idea to have one here in the South Florida area (as Jenny suggested).
ReneeC:Your input please
I'm leaning toward encouraging lots of munchies and side dishes since there seems to be several people who will be coming at different times.
I have a pretty awesome buffet set up to keep things hot or cold all day. This way no one has to cook everytime someone shows up. So if I was to cook up a bunch of chicken and maybe kielbasa/hotdogs/bratwurst type of stuff and everyone else brings side dishes ...... what do you all think?
Let me know and let's start getting the food list together.
Also, Jenny mentioned a grab bag gift - I think that is a good idea as well. Shall we set a value of no more than $10.
