SoCal Scuba Show in May (LB)

I'm proud of my age! Heck, I sucked my first air from a SCUBA tank in late '61 or early '62. And what isn't sexy about a mature man? While I was in Florida with dive buddy Andrea (29), the couple across from us at the piano bar thought I was 35! Yes, they probably need a major overhaul of their eyeglass prescription, but...

Mainland dives are a pain for me due to travel and conditions relative to my video work. If I'm going to travel, it's going to be somewhere more exotic!

Hey Christian, Ken, Anna, Jennifer, Laurel, Lexy, John X 2, I will be there with bells on!!! Hmmm...wonder if I can pull off winning another custom wetsuit??? Maybe a trip or two this time? Gotta love those drawings!!!

I can't wait to see my buds from Kona Honu Divers!!! I sure do miss the heck out of them. I have invited them to do some pre-show Laguna diving if anyone is interested.

Just let me know when and where and I will be there. I think the Pool area was a good place. Easy to find.

So, it sounds like Saturday is the hot ticket!

We could all meet at a specific place at the show and then go out somewhere.

How does everyone feel about getting together for dinner and drinks somewhere on Saturday? That leaves everyone plenty of time to circulate around the show together and/or separately and then just hang out with everyone for the rest of the evening.

Any thoughts on where to do this?

Awesome! I have baseball games Saturday, so getting together Saturday night is perfect. Then I'll stay up that way and go to the show on Sunday!

What about eating at Bubba Gump's? I hear it's great food and a fun hangout. Also, there is that new dance club next door to Bubba Gump's.

Or, there are about four or five restaurant's accross the street from the convention center. I can't remember the names.

Wow... got a real surprise today. I put on my... er... bifocals and looked at my driver's license more carefully. I was born in 1967, not 1947. No wonder I can barely remember the 60's... and I thought it was because of all the alcohol, drugs and wild sex. Now does THAT make me sexy, or what!

I figure if I can dive another 30 years (Cousteau did it) I can amass nearly 75 years of diving experience.
