You're in the wrong forum. I assume you're not a certified diver and aren't familiar with the terminology but this forum is for technical diving, which means beyond recreational limits. You might want to ask in the Diving Gear forum...
Agree, moved to General Scuba Equipment Discussions.

Thanks for all the help guys. Yes, I failed to explain my intentions more clearly and was instantly banned from the divebuddy.com forums. A bit trigger-happy on their part, I'll have to say. I thought since I mentioned in my original post that I was trying to 'accomplish the same idea' that would have imparted my intentions... to use the device in the same way, but I guess not. So, without further adieu...my intention is to use the device as intended, breathing above water in a compromised air environment.

All ears for more suggestions.

cool, I’ll ask again for what use..
I don’t care about the intent, just asking to gauge how long of a supply you need

Do you need to spray some 2k lacquer on a couple of pieces and that’s it, so you need a 5 min supply?
Do you deal with something that needs a longer supply?
Do you need to protect your eyes from fumes or not? Would you need a full face mask 🤷🏽‍♀️

Why is the example you used not a good fit for you so we can try and brainstorm with you…

I think between EEBD, the 3M, and the spareair (and their equivalent products) is the answer — but you have the preferences

You can get carbon fiber SCBA cylinders all the way down to 1L - so stupidly short duration. What is the atmosphere, what is your exertion level, and how long do you need the cylinder to last?

Edit... Also what fill pressures are you expecting?
