Thats it.......This unethical lying must be stopped......Time to collect signatures and rally for a FEDERAL HOLIDAY. ;)

...........make that a PAID...Federal Holiday

I'm with you, we need to get it as a holiday or just as a part of our benefit packages.

3 weeks vacation, 5 sick days, 2 personal days and 3 i just feel like diving today days.

I got a good head start on this one. I took a morning off just last week to finish my OW cert! Just trying to get in as many dives as I can before it gets too cold!

I work as a diver in the private sector in marinas,so I don"t have to take a day off , all I have to do is put the tools down and turn around !!!!

I am the boss, so if I am not there, nothing gets done. With that said, last week I went to a one day medical course in Miami. My son (premed and also my dive buddy) also went. We went down a day early and dove on the Spiegel Grove. Then dove Monday - Thursday. He has finished up his MSD. We are already planning dive escapes this summer. My brother is getting married for the 3rd time outside Philly. We are planning on going down early and diving Dutch Springs or the NJ coast. It is nice to be the boss. However - my boss, my wife is the office manager, so we all know who runs the ship!!

How on earth did this thread pop back up. I am still working outside the 9-5 world. I was just thinking this summer I am going to try to get out at least once during the wekk and once on the weekends.
