I just don't log dives
I'm giving the Sitech drygloves a shot and have just finished installing them. I'm a little concerned about the the excess amount of the Showa 495 (blue glove) protruding from the Quick Glove Release rings. It's only about an inch, and the instructions say you can tuck the excess into the ring, but I find it's difficult to do properly, and I can easily see it fouling up the connection into the quick clamp if one is not careful.

The instructions mention nothing about trimming the excess blue glove away, but I'm thinking there can be no harm in doing that. Or is there? :11:

Thoughts?

I trimmed mine to fit a little better. *shrug*

The last thing you want is anything that can get in the way of the seal as it WILL! Even a hair can cause a leak.

I just push the excess in,no problems.
