Hiya everyone!!!

Great to see people from Singapore hanging ard here in this forum... I just got certified as a OW diver in May 2003 in Dayang... Great experience for me... luv it!!!

Next destination would be Pulau Tioman in Sept for my 2nd diving trip with a bunch of my friends...

Cheers,
geo

Welcome Geo, great to have you onboard, Tioman is a great place to dive, it's got lots of coral to look at , heaps of fish, and some interesting wrecks too.

Vis is general quite good but can get bad, enjoy your time there.

I mean underH2O world. Tioman is a great dive location. Enjoy and dive safe.

The last day had fantastic vis but the storm clouds really cut down the light penetration.

Hi Blackice,
I always bring a light with me so that I can see the real colour of the coral even on day time.

Enjoy your trip to Sipadan.

Has anyone been to Sipadian and visited the Turtle Cavern? Did they allow you to dive it with out CAvern/Cave training?

If not what sort of traiining do you have that allows you to dive it. Also where can I get that sort of training?

Hi All!

It is great to see so many Singaporeans on the thread.

So tell me all if you have plans for the National Day Weekend and where you guys are heading too.

I will be at Aur!

Cheers!

was going to go on a live onboard trip "Endau" but change our minds and will be chilling in Singapore.

As we don't get a day off :-(
the trip required either Friday or Monday off.

Endau is a fishing port just north of Mersing, about 1 1/2 hours to 2 hours drive. Quite a few LOBs depart from that place. But it is also affected by tide problems faced at Mersing. Went for a LOB, ex-Endau, reached there 1120pm, had to wait till morning before we sailed out of port.

Btw, 1 space for Perhentian Besar, $420, 5 dives, 7-11 August. Departure Thursday nite, 3D2N on the island, departure back on Sunday nite, arrival Singapore Mon morning. Eating expense not included. Interested parties, please do PM me.
