Tioman Clean-up!

I got this email, if anyone interested please contact me at alrick.dorett@tequila.com.sg

Quote: "Come join us in this meaningful event. Let us do our bit to help keep the reef clean and healthy. And at the same time increase awareness in protecting our underwater heritage. For the final two weekends of August, we will dive Kuantan Wreck and Tioman Bahara Rock to remove trash and loose fish lines and nets from the sea."

Hi Guys and Gals,

What do you guys think of setting up a database of divers from Singapore and Malaysia, where we can at a click communicate to the community of divers within our reach.

Obviously this must not become a place to flog advertising stuff, but a real community.

Your thoughts please.

There is a local website called

FINS Online

and - from someone who is a tiny bit more independent - I can say that FINS is an excellent resource for Singapore and Malaysia divers and dive sites.
