Hi, I just noticed on Scubapro website that now they have the Mk2 plus in 'high polished' version. It looks beautiful!!! That had me thinking about the R190? The R190 was a classic just like the mk2 and it was a proven solid reg. If you have a vote, would you like to see the R190 alive again and why? The R190 seemed to have several versions in the past but not sure if they were only cosmetic changes.

I really prefer the SP barrel poppet regs. That would be the 109 adjustable followed by the G200. That said, both my R190s are very reliable, easy and cheap to service, and I like the purge button/seat saver feature.

I've got six R190s/R380s and all of them are 100% bullet proof (as primaries, octos, and on stages). I've trusted my life to them in the Great Lakes as well as the Florida Keys and they've performed well in all scenarios. Combined with the small number of parts, ease of service, and cost, you can't beat the deal.
