No AI is kinda fail. I can understand it would cannibalize perdix sales, but you can find ai on much Cheaper computers.
Not in the US or Canadian market, and certainly not when paired with a color screen computer.

Kinda funny that Dive Gear Express' website is not yet showing the Peregrine. Considering it was leaked from their website yesterday...
So, compared to the Deep6 Gear computer, you pay an extra $175 and you get a color screen, built-in rechargeable (non-user replaceable) battery, and Shearwater service/support. Am I missing anything?

I see what you mean. If you're tech diving on OC with no helium, you could use the Peregrine. Fair enough.
Yes, the Peregrine would work fine for an AN/DP level diver.
So, (to me), it's down to whether it's worth $175 for a bigger, color screen.
