I've tried 3-4 times to do update and my Perdix AI times out, update failing. Computer does show update is being sent to Perdix, it just seems slow. It otherwise plays nice with my MacBook Air. I've registered account for Shearwater Cloud, just waiting for registration confirmation email, so I can try update that way.
How long does the update take?
I had the same problem. Tried it a couple of times on a Windows PC and it failed. Tried it a couple of times using a MacBook Pro and it failed. Tried it with the Shearwater Cloud app and it worked on the first try. Recommendation for anyone having problems, if you can try with the cloud app.Finally got the email to confirm Cloud registration. Update worked fine that way. I didn't put in a new battery as computer is maybe 6 weeks old and only has 1 pool dive on it.
Thanks for this. Last time I look the cloud app was android only/beta/not so useful but I just used it to update one of my shearwaters. Can't upgrade my Petrel. No idea why, done it several time already, but today : zilch !!! Quite frustrating... I'm using a Mac Mini with Snow Leopard, my Petrel BT is paired to it since the beginning and I'm using the latest Shearwater desktop software.
Any idea to solve the problem ?
