You might luck out with email. Best to call them if possible.
While it would suck to tear your brand new seal, they are not that expensive and easy to replace.
Relax, it's not a rocket science, you'll be fine.

When my suit arrived it didn't have the neoprene comfort patch. I emailed them. Never received a response, but the neoprene showed up in the mail a week later.

Thanks for the info guys. Appreciate it a bunch. Going to Mexico in April to learn how to use it properly and do some fundies and doubles primer as well with Laurent at zero gravity. Excited to be able to dive pretty much anywhere now. Been airing it out and working on getting in/out. Talc’d the seams and such and every time I get into/out of it it’s a little easier. Zipper waxing/lube was key too.

It's wild to me that this thread is almost 4000 posts going strong since 2018. I wonder how many of us owe a thanks to @stuartv and @lexvil for being some of the 1st to try Seaskin and report back. For me Stuart started the thread which caught my attention and then it was lex saying he's had one for years holding up well and I decided to pull the trigger. So happy I did.

I'm sure there are others, but those 2 stick out. Thanks guys!

Shame Seakin hasn't caught on and started sending you guys thank you checks, lol.

Love free stuff but if they start giving things away others end up paying for it and I’m glad there is someone out there not gouging the customers.

Well, dang. I was going to agree wholeheartedly. But, @lexvil took the wind out of that sail...

LOL! ;) :D

It doesn't happen often, but when I do occasionally run across a Seaskin "in the wild", I always enjoy asking how they heard about Seaskin and what convinced them to buy one. It has happened that this thread has gotten some credit....

When I see one in the wild I usually just make fun of them for their obvious death wish.

It's funny, 2 or 3 times a year random people will wind up on the oyster boat and I ask how they heard about it and they say some guy posted online and then mention my name. Amazing how the internet travels.

I mean, maybe Seaskin doesn't owe you or Lex anything, but if we ever get that dive in lunch is on me!

Otherwise it looks good to go - the silicone neck seals will probably need to be trimmed though, which is something I've never done... it's a Quick Neck system with Silflex seal
Does anyone know if talc should be used on silicone seals btw?
Thanks everyone - the suit was sent without any zipper lubricant (no wax or ziptech / dedicated plastic zip lubricant), and was also missing the extra seals and clip, so I shot them an email yesterday and will hopefully get an answer soon.
Thanks for the tip for trimming the neck seal - I'm a little terrified at the prospect as I'm not really handy with these kind of things, but I'll just have to bite the bullet...
Unless you have a very large neck i wouldn't bother trimming it at all. Wear it and let it stretch out. You'll be better off that way imo. The silicone will eventually stretch/relax and if you trim it then it might end up a bit too loose. Mine give me a bit of color in my face initially but they loosen up within one or two dives.

Same experience. Thought I was being choked out the first time I put it on. Then I just wore it around the house for half an hour and it was fine. Wasn't a problem in the water at all.
