SeaCure Custom Mouthpieces?

I was wondering if anyone has tried one of these? Any reviews would be appreciated

Yes I have. They work well & are very comfortable until they start to be come hard after a year or so. They stay put in the mouth & really help with jaw fatigue. They are molded & cut to fit you. They're not the greatest, though, if you donate your primary regulator, because it may not really fit the OOA diver in need. But then,..... its an emergency situation & I haven't seen too many OOA divers refuse air.

I have one and hate it. I suffer from TMJD so I thought it would be beneficial but it proved to be the worst mouthpiece I've tried to date. Perhaps I wasn't using it correctly (just how many ways are there to use a mouthpiece??), but I found the only way to keep it in place was to clamp it firmly between both upper and lower jaws.

I'm trying to relax underwater, not stress out further, so I went back to my Apeks mouthpiece and learned to relax my lower jaw and therefore decrease stress on my TMJ. So far I haven't bitten through the second Apeks mouthpiece so I'm making progress.

I've got Seacures on most of my regs and have enjoyed diving Seacures for some years now and it's my impression that they work great for most divers...that being said, as annasea mentions, there's no guarantee it will work for you, you might just have to risk $ 25 and take a chance.

I love mine. Very comfortable. Little effort to keep reg in during long dives. When I've had to use rental regs (while DMing pool sessions) I really miss my Seacures.

My Seacure mouthpiece is the best (and cheapest) upgrade I have ever done. My jaw fatigue issues went away completely. It does get a little harder as time goes by, but it can be easily remolded.

I used to have a lot of jaw fatigue and bit through a number of mouth pieces. I tried Seacure and it made a world of difference. Combined with a miflex hose (reduced pulling on the regulator) it is a very comfortable set up.

I like mine. I think the trick is, get your water hot....use a pair of needle nose plyers to hold the mouth piece....dip it it....and DONT bite down too hard. Trim the back of each side as needed.

It does get a little harder as time goes by, but it can be easily remolded.

I was looking at one at the LDS a few days ago. Seems like it was pretty hard right in the package... I as expecting something soft like silicone.

I have had mine for two years now (close to 100 dives). I love mine just follow the instructions.
