I've dove with a Swift transmitter directly attached to a XT1 in pretty much every configuration possible (Single-tank, Twinset, Sidemount, CCR) and with 3 different tank sizes (AL80, LP85, AL40).

The only issue I've had is with Sidemount/CCR since I like to have the transmitter pointing down towards the tank. Some shorter neck valves cause a slight interference issue: I have to rotate the XT1 so the fifth port isn't exactly 90 degrees to the side, and bungees still sometimes get 'pinned' between the transmitter and neck. Realistically these are just annoyances more than anything.

No adapter or pin/spool is necessary if you screw it directly into a HP port on the XT1. If you're concerned about someone grabbing the transmitter and breaking it, you can get a short HP hose and a HP pin/spool like you would for a SPG.

I'd get the Deep6 signature set; customized for the hose lengths....40 inch under the arm primary, necklaced secondary. SPH on hose as a backup for your transmitter.

Both the XT1/XT2 and D6 come with advanced/streamlined OW setup, which includes the specifics you listed.

I think you missed my point, My point was NEITHER the DiveRite set nor the Dive Gear Express set, but rather the Deep6 Signature set.
How are you planning on getting them serviced in a year or two: Local shop? Mail in? Your self?

Dive Rite is serviced by my LDSs. DGX would be myself and/or mail. My understanding is Deep 6 would face the same service issues, with it being limited, and most likely need to mail in if not able to service myself. Am I incorrect?

Pretty much. The D6 from DGE and the Sugnature from Deep6 are the same issue: mail in or do it yourself, but the Signature is the superior reg. The DiveRite is good, and local service is a plus if you don't want to or can't service it yourself.

Some of the newer regs out there are starting to standoff at least one or both of the HP ports a bit from the first stage to better fit transmitters without any clearance issues. I know my ScubaPro Mk17 Evo 2 sets that I just bought have this, and I think they're also angled a few degrees up or down depending on which way you put on the first stage.

I own both and use both. I can repeat what others have said here, but I think knowing what I actively use and where will be the best opinion from me.

XT1/2? Primary reg for my CCR Dil and bail-out. If I dive sidemount or single-tank? I use XT1/2.
D6? I use it for a second bailout tank (ex. Nitrox 50) when I need that.

Though if I had gone through training I'd switch those out for Deep6.

Also, would you use for backmount rec diving?
