Hard to believe -- everyone tells me that AI technology is bulletproof and a mechanical SPG will let you down every time. I am confused
I suppose you can provide a quotation from "everyone" supporting that assertion.

Chill out and take a joke guys.

Thanks you all.
I have contacted shearwater and hopefully they will replace it no charge (the transmitter is about 3 years old)

It is technically out of warranty, which is 2 years with Shearwater. But it seems that sometimes when the issue is a known defect, they have replaced items outside of warranty.

Be sure and share an update when you hear back.

Wow, Shearwater’s service is outstanding — they already sent me an RMA and will replace the unit.
Really glad it didn’t happen underwater 😅 In sidemount it wouldn’t have been a big deal since I could feather the valve, but on a single tank at 100 ft… that would’ve been a whole different story!

HP leaks don’t lone as much air as LP leaks, if it happened underwater you should have plenty of bail out time. Shearwater service should be the model for the industry rather than the noteworthy exception.

Yeah, with Shearwater my experience is that the warranty doesn't matter. If something is amiss they'll take care of it quickly for you. They genuinely stand by and care about their products, which is rare these days.
