One of the pin holds the plate broke.

I managed to get them out without any damage.
I've found these paper clips fits in there perfectly.

Now, how should I secure the front?

any ideas? or better solutions?
anyone know what's the plate made of? it's not steel, but it's pretty hard. wondering if I could polish the scratch.

Thanks

found 2 tiny screws. used some super glue to hold them in, and gave it a little polish.
looks okay. good for an othe 3000 dives.

I’m not sure the metal in a binder clip will last long enough to make it worth the effort.

is there not a replacement part you can buy?

if no parts can be bought, I‘d maybe consider aluminum pop rivets.

I missed your second post. Looks good.

Can they take saltwater without corroding?
probably not. the original pin was coated brass.
I think I'll probably get a new whole cover in the future.
