Does anyone have any links on the history of the SP regs , first and second stages... It's interesting, say, to know why 250 production was "restarted".

DA Aquamaster may be ? Luis ? You, guys, always tell great stories of the regs.

Thanks in advance.

Try googling 'scubapro museum' and you'll get lots of what you're looking for.

About 4 years ago DA Aquamaster posted a summary of the lineage of scubapro models. You'll have to search his posts to find it, but it would be worth it.

The G250V was doubtlessly developed and released because SP saw used G250s holding very high resale value, and wanted a piece of that pie. I strongly suspect that the A700 started its development as a project motivated by the timeless appeal of the 109 and balanced adjustable. In that case, however, the A700 seems to share little with it's predecessor aside from the metal case.

Got the museum link, great that's a lot of interesting information, thanks halocline
