If you're buying new and want scubapro, then take a look at Halcyon. They are the exact same reg except rebadged for Halcyon and cheaper. Personally I find them uglier than SP, but that doesn't matter to me. It may to your wife. Otherwise, I love G250s and G260s and Mk 25s. If diving alot of cold water though I would recommend their diaphragm reg.

I have a Mk25/G260 and love it.
The size and weight doesn't matter one bit underwater.
With a '91 Mk10/G250.

I'm going to second what Kupu said above and throw in a vote for the S600...my girlfriend is diving the G260 and while it's a *great* reg, the S600 is also great and it's less bulky.
