It will not. Well, it "might" but it's not the same length.

What would be the benefit?

They breathe the same.

To me the only thing that was "better" on the G250V was the introduction of the seat saving purge button as also now found on the R195 and G260.
 
The other difference not yet mentioned is the G250V flow vane snaps in place and must be replaced with new if removed. The G250 uses a C clip so you can change O ring and re use flow vane.

Mostly the flow vanes on the G250 are small or tiny, occasionally you find the much rarer long handle ones. The flow vane on the G250V is a long handle type. The tiny ones that came on the G250 Graphite are all but unusable in gloves, they are a joke.

You can, if you can source them, with some force use the long handle snap in G250HP flow vanes in a G250 but these became NLA a month or so ago.

Perhaps the early version, tiny VIVA adjustment tab was more intended to be set by the reg tech. Not so much as a feature for the diver to adjust on any regular basis. And then marketing came into play and the VIVA became a feature for the diver. Something along those lines...
