That L.P. one is to convert a standard regulator, to one that can be used with a BC that has an Air2

Mine converts a regulator that has a Air2 fitting on it, to a stamndard size so you can use a BC without an Air2 .. has S-124 on it, that is all that's on mine, got it from my LDS

(I may also get that other one, just to cover all possabilities while on a dive trip)

Thanks DB. I kind of thought that was what was meant but wasn't certain.

Appreciate it.

Just back from divng. Water & air both 70. Gotta love TX.

The valve in the std LP inflator hose is just like the one in an auto tire. I believe it is called a schrader valve. It is just not designed to pass a large volume of air and it just gets worse with depth.

So, is there an adapter than can take a standard quick connect to a Scubapro fitting on an Air2? I will also give the boys at Scubatoys a call but I can't find anything at LP.

Now I'm REALLY confused - that's what I posted a link to in post #10 on this thread, but D_B indicated that wasn't what you were looking for . . .

Sorry, not meaning to confuse everyone. :06:

I have a Scubapro Knighthawk with Air2. I want to use a standard Oceanic regulator on it occasionally. The Regulator usually connects to a Oceanic AirXS (Same as the Air2 but made by Oceanic).

So...what I need is a connector to fit the inflator hose to work with my Air2 when I use it on my Knighthawk. Scubapro is the only manufacturer that uses a special sized connector.

Clear as mud?

I just checked out Post 10. Thats close but I need a Male quick connect (standard) to a quick connect (Scubapro) female.

I got ya tjmills, you need something like in post 10, but is an adapter, not a replacement fitting, so you can just "click" it on to change config's

Yes an adapter that goes from a normal size to the air 2. Do you know of one?

Yes, we stock those adapters, although they are not on the site... Just call... But also, just swapping the hose would be a very fast option. Almost as fast as popping on the adapter.

I will be calling. There is a reason I may not be able to switch out the hose as I can't modify the equipment. I agree this is an easy option.

Just to make sure we are talking the same language.... This would be a quick disconnect fitting standard (male) to a quick disconnect female (Scubapro)?
