Im not sure to visualise how , would you have a pic ?
I don’t have a pic. But let me clarify - I am only able to do it because I use a long hose 5th port 1st stage configuration like the mk25 with the turret and 5th port angled downwards at 45 degrees. This allows me to rotate the turret until the inflator hose port is to the left of the tank post pointing backwards. This allows me to route the inflator hose around the post before guiding it under the 1st rubber band that keeps the corrugated hose and inflator hose together and takes care of the extra length ..

Yeah so don't subscribe to that mess

Have you worked out yet with the gear assembled and the corrugated hose resting in a neutral position
Run the lp hose outside the wing elbow, along the corrugated hose, to the inflator nipple and ad 50mm

Choose the right port and the hose runs itself

Hi guys!
I have an xdeep Zen (Medium Size). The length of my inflator is the standard one but when i bought the hose to plug it to the tank it's actually too long (I took one of 60cm) .

I'd like to know which size did you take ? I'm not sure about 45 or 50cm

Thanks 🙏
You bought a hose that was too long. Typical inflator LP hoses are around 22 inches for a singles rig. This can vary several inches depending upon the regulator, corrugated hose length preferred and be it a single or doubles rig.

Rather than buying a pile of inflator hoses, you could buy standard LP hoses and use this to convert to inflator duty:

Assemble your kit and then take a flexible tape measure and measure the length required for best routing. Buy a hose of that length and be happy. The above two outfits also have plenty of hoses in all sorts of lengths and colors.

Best of the best for drysuit hoses

But i don't understand the size of hose still changes. What is the différence between different normal hose with adaptator or different DS hose? I will still need différents for each utilisation

Most drysuits use the same fittings as do BCs. The only difference is the length of hose needed. Which you will have to measure for yourself. A 5'2" woman will not need the same hose lengths as a 6'4" man. There are no universal or standard lengths.

So your point is to have just 1 hose for the 2 different utilisation? And depending the utilisation using the adaptator? Because i will need to huse both in the same time , so 2 hoses anyways. I don't really see the point of that adaptator sorry, maybe because of my english ^^'

You do not need to use an adapter. You can purchase hoses that already have the standard BC/drysuit connection QR, each in a length to suit your purpose.

The purpose of the adapter is to allow those divers who have a collection of hoses of various lengths or who wind up with various lengths of standard LP hoses to use them for their BC/drysuit and regulators as needed. And there are many divers who have collected a pile of hoses. Seems like you may be starting on a nice pile of hoses yourself ;).

Maybe it is a language and culture issue but I do not follow your problem? It initially seemed, I thought, you did not know how long the LP hoses should be for your BC to prevent excess looping? I suggested assembling your kit and measuring the needed length and put your gear on and measure for your drysuit inflator. I do not know any other way to do it.

For Hogartian kit as used in GUE and DIR and many enthusiast divers regardless, the primary is a 40/60/70 inches hose and the secondary is a 20/22/24 inches hose. For conventional kit the primary is typically on a 26 to 28 inches hose and the octopus secondary is on a 36/40 inches hose. The LP BC inflator nad the LP drysuit inflatopr are purchased to fit you and your kit bny measruing them. Unlike the aforementioned regulator hoses there really are no standard lengths for BC/drysuit and are often supplied with those items in a length that would only work well for the Jolly Green Giant..
