I'm a Fish!
I have a ScubaPro Galileo HUD that I use all the time. I'm a part time rescue/recovery diver and often I dive for long periods of time without going below 10 feet. Recently, my ScubaPro Galileo HUD jumps into 'gauge mode' which limits functionality. This will happen with a 10 minute dive at 5'. This feature is supposed to only happen when I exceed dive limits and deco times.
It is basically making this unit worthless. I have searched for answers and I have not even found anyone else having this problem. I haven't gotten an answer from ScubaPro yet (still waiting) but I use this often.
Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks.

I haven't heard back from them yet. I sent them the issue to this and their tech support emails. I use this a lot and I was hoping that maybe someone here might have a solution.

I have been using the SP HUD for a little over a year now. I frequently dive in 3 - 5 meters for a long time taking pictures (more than an hour) never went into gauge mode.

Chase their tech. services. In the past. they replied to me within 48 hours.

There is no way to preform a hard reset on the HUD. 8>( I still haven't heard back from ScubaPro either.
Ok, didn’t remember, with current prices it may be cheaper to replace it or better yet SP may offer an even better deal for a replacement, either way you’re stuck going through an SP dealer.
