Another one of those little Freudian Slips, Andy. I do have a mind like a steel trap so you had better watch out.

Hypocriticus - Hypo cannot see himself or herself as others do. Hypo commits the most flagrant violations of any agency's standards and then cautions newbies to be safe divers. Often found hanging out in Accidents and Incidents and Ask Dr. Decompression.

Legends in Their Own Mind (Irritatus Continuous) These are the posters who don't need "no steenkin' tables" and never will admit to a mistake. They plan 4hour deco dives in their heads and can show Dr Haldane a thing or two. Usually a former instructor, their beef is with ANYONE who does not teach like them. No other class is ever thorough enough and all the other instructors are only out to fleece their students.

Easily Offended (skinnus thininess) [I'm not good with the Latin names]
Easily takes offense to any criticism, directed at him or not, and promptly quits SB. Too bad because they would have evolved into a wonderful Homer Simpson

the Gray Eminence: Gray Eminences sit quietly at the center of their spider web, and plot. The Gray Emminence is served by disfunctional posters through whose disfunctionality the Gray Eminence fosters, manipulates, and ultimately controls the posters, who believe they are the Gray Eminence's true friends. The Gray Eminence, on the other hand, understands that these posters are merely pawns to be used and discarded. When the Gray Eminence wishes to attack someone, he sends an innocent but suggestive PM to one or many of his minions, who then launch the attack, not even aware they are being manipulated. The Gray Eminence is an extremely difficult oponent to overcome, as he or she never shows his or her true face, and can change their position on an issue at will by always being vague, cryptic, and oracular.

Lounge Lizard - for the most part, this type hangs out in the troll bridge and makes innane comments apropos of nothing. Sometimes spotted in other Surface Interval threads yakking about their personal lives. Seldom posts in a true diving thread and is scorned by many on Team Green.

Yes, it is cathartic! :D

NetDoc:
You know... this is strangely cathartic. :D

:D

Semanticus Spasticus

It's not what you say to them, it's the words you use to say it that can send them into a spastic frenzy. They prefer sugar coated conversations that are generally non productive and circular in nature. Semanticus Spasticus often make the best Wabbits.
