remember, innocent until proven guilty. but what am i thinking, it's on the internet, so it must be true.

Guess that means I shouldn't slice his hoses for physically disabling his wife? It is the internet. Maybe we should use it to search public court records on whether this is for real and he is wanted.

It probably didn't occur to you that every comment, no matter how frivolous or inane, bumps this thread back to the top of the queue, where more people are likely to read it. Which was the Deputy's point in posting it here.

:thumb: If it's true. The internet and all that.

Reference:
Scott Rose: "His assaults included electrocution, strangulation, and broken bones from the abuse"

Other comments:
fairybasslet: "Do we get to keep his gear if we turn him in?"
idocsteve: "Especially if he conveniently writes his name on the back of his tank and he doesn't know we're after him."
idocsteve: "Does he usually carry a dive knife and if so, where does he carry it and how long is the blade?"

I see Rick has edited this. I'll have to look and see if he edited your first post which was in clear violation. Next time, think.

Even people who are found guilty in a court of law are sometimes later exonerated. I'm not saying this dude is innocent. He sounds like one mean mutha and I sure as hell hope I never see him on my boat.

Even so, he remains guilty until proven otherwise in an appeal court.

Please READ. I didn't edit it - the moderator did. If you had read the original post, your comment may have been more thoughtful.

Nice re-edit of your OP, though. It almost makes it seem as though you were paying attention...

Just seems kind of odd, he was convicted and sentenced in the late 90's, suspended sentence for 5 years and the detective hasnt seem him since. That would put the man at large for at least 9 years. Why is the detective just now posting, unless he just found out about this board, that is a thought.
