Scuba Club Cozumel closing!

I just heard that Scuba Club Cozumel is closing as of August 31 - not just for September but all dates beyond.

We are really bummed. We've been going to SCC every year for over thirty years. Our home away from home.

Very sad.

Yes, I just confirmed it today.

We had a group reservations for early November, just like we have had for the last 14 years. It is very sad.

Any background on this ? (Just not making money , changing hotel brands , converted to condos, being torn down to make room for something else ….) The SCC website doesn't say anything about it closing. https://scubaclubcozumel.com/index.php

They would like to sell, but I guess they have not found a buyer. Tim has been ready to retire for several years.

I can't imagine that the closing will be permanent. It is in a prime location and it has a built in customer base. Someone is bound to buy it.
