This user sends you a dm about your WTB ads for photography equipment.

Looked suspicious and I wasn't sure at first, so I didn't respond because I'm too busy for that. His account has little activity actually contributing to any dive content.

He sent another dm regarding another ad a couple of days later with the same copy-paste message.

Upon doing a google search, there are several reports of him scamming for photography equipment, some BMW-related stuff, and other various niche items.

This is the same pattern of behavior scammers use on wetpixel. If you post a WTB, they target you.

This is exactly the pattern that I just experienced. Same “referral“ to another SB member, same email for scam. For me it was to purchase two Hollis Neotek semi-dry suits. Thankfrilly, something juse seemed off and I did not send any money.
