Usually, Scubapro pairs a balanced 1st for a primary with an unbalanced 1st for an octopus. If you are were breathing off your octo, remember the hose is a few inches longer and NOT optimized to the diver that is donating air but for the comfort of the out of air diver. This is going to push it to the left side of the mouth for most divers using it in lieu of their primary.
The G-260 is the latest in a line of balanced Scubapro regs going back over 40 years at least, back as far as the 158 Balanced Adjustable at a minimum(which is still a fine reg with modern internals). It is going to be plenty light and breathe with a very high degree of performance. Any differences in the water between it and the S-620 are going to be minuscule in the extreme. Both will breathe super-easy well beyond anything approaching recreational dive limits. IMO, it would take an experienced diver to tell a difference between the two.
Both are going to breathe so well, unless you are active concentrating, you will not notice them at all.
