Good news is the weather is great and the diving matches the weather. Made 4 dives from FI yesterday. One was Mary's Place....unusual in that a bit of current made it almost like a drift dive. Another dive was Anka's Place and it was something to see the changes in the wall just since July....mother nature has a way of returning things back to normal.....it of course will take years, but saw Sand Diver and lots and lots of Banded Coral Shrimp living in the cracks on the wall as well as the development of Algee.
Bad new....from attached photo from CajunDiva you can see the Lion Fish are really here. This one was at the enterance to Mary's Place at about 90'...unfortunately it's not the first one he have seen.....seen four so far on different dives....got to catch the morning dive boat so see you later.

Weather is still beautiful and diving is great...the tradewinds have picked up a bit and the seas are building but still not bad....Yesterday current was still ripping so we decided to jump in at Newman's Wall and do a drift dive...we had a little over a hour bottom time and surfaced at Missing Link....really nice just cruising the reef for that distance .......CoCo View was kind enough to let us come over from Fantasy Island and dive their wall and that made another nice drift dive....current much less there and of course the Garden Eels were out in full at the chain line to the Prince Albert. Heading out again in a little while and we will see what the day brings.

To those of us looking out at a grey sky and 50 degrees,

we find these reports particularly annoying.

But do continue, if you must.

You move over to Anthony's Key on the North Side tomorrow, yes?

Doc, are you saying that you arent there at this time? I was looking forward to chatting with you over a Monkey La La tomorow evening.

From what I here there are empty seats on the plane. :D

I think Doc is looking out over the Chicago west side area with those gray skys and 50 degrees.

:penguin: And I know, being originally from Ill, it won't change til after Thanksgiving when the sleet/sneet/snow starts to fly.

Weather is still holding up find and diving is good....vis is still a little on the down side but otherwise conditions are good.. We put over at Valley of the Kings and drifted down to Gold Chen Reef. Did Iron Shore later in the morning and then drift dove from Wonderul Reef down to John's Spot...lots of fish life and the Creole Wrasse are feeling romantic and having a real good time. This afternoon we started on Wonderful Reef and drifted East as far as John's Spot before coming out...Saw several Parrot Fish that were in the 40# class....big boys.

Good stuff. Can't wait till we get our shot at it in Dec.

Have they brought back the seafood night with the grilled lobster tails at FIBR? Any changes at the resort since your last stay?
Thanks.
