That would have been nice and clear. I understand the current poll to be essentially that same question. Please note the current policy is to create 'clubs' anytime 12 members and the Admins agree (read here), so you can't really prevent subforums. El Orans has shown how such 'clubs' would be handled IF they are created (NONE will be included in the initial structure).

I vote Yes with the understanding that this will be the initial structure (single forum)

I think we need to revisit (significantly increase) the threshold for creating forms. A dozen or so people is far to small, they can probably just use a "running" thread not a subform. Now if 100 people are interested or there's a overwhelming number of similar threads that seems to crowd out all others... that deserves a subform, but that discussion is off-topic.

I don't think it saves a click...but it does cost real estate.

Putting the clubs under one subforum does not mean extra clicks, because the clubs are listed after the subforum title, no? They're just a lot smaller...
