Hello all,

I've been using my Waterproof W1 5mm semi-dry wetsuit for the last 6 months or so, and noticed a tear has appeared on the water barrier seal on one of the ankles (see attached photo). Looking for peoples opinions on if I should try to repair this (somehow?), or simply use a pair of scissors to cut the water barrier off just below where the tear starts? They reach right down to the bottom of my ankles so there is plenty of excess there.

Hello

A little bit of neopren glue will fix this. If you want you could strengthen with part with some Melco tape. Notice that Melco tape will not stick to smooth neopren. Cutting it off is to much in my opinion.

Best wishes Jens
