I will be renting a car in Cancun next week. My bank tells me my VISA card will cover all my liability, theft, accident and fire insurance. I am wondering if that will be enough or will additional insurance be advised.

One of the great scams in Mexico is hitting up a tourist for a ding or chip in the windshield. BTW, this generally occurs when you are pressed for time getting to the airport. Personally, I just pay the SOB's in advance and get the full insurance with no deductible. It is expensive, and I know that it is not a way either you or I would do business with each other, but we are not in Kansas anymore Todo when we are dealing with Mexican car rental companies.
