No, it’s always wet, muddy like wet. Occasionally I dipped the toothbrush in a cup of water and brushed the glass surface with wet toothbrush. If the area looked like too diluted with water, I added dry powder on it. Basically I swished around the mud over the stubborn white residue. Toothbrush is needed to reach the edges & corner where the tempered glass molded on to the silicone skirt.Also I mentioned before that water is your friend
In the photo your paste looked dry to me. I was finding that when it's dry it introduces new scratches.
Thanks to your suggestion of using cerium oxide. It works! I’m looking forward to my next diving destination, next week, to see Mola Mola in Bali & then heading up to Banda Sea to see schooling hammerheads.
