There is no other way to get glass that clean without etching it.

Hydrochloric nothing better brewed so carefully, and it cleans shower screens too like magic and baths, pans

Where would you get the hydrochloric acid

Where would you get the hydrochloric acid

Yeah, it even cleans out the lime residue from my rebreather scrubbers, stainless, brass, plated, painted, plastic

What about when doctors fail to explore varied or better procedures or drugs as they are unfamiliar with them

Thanks.

I'd remove the lens from the frame before using stronger chemicals.

The lens is molded into my mask. Might as well I get a new mask.

I’ll check how good the 30% vinegar does in removing that stubborn white residue tonight and still have some other options to try (Bon Ami, CRL, cerium oxide & muriatic acid).

30% vinegar is not working, even brushing the lens surface after soaking it with the cleaning vinegar for a day (see the picture, below)

Bon Ami next.

It's a lot more than that.
Feldspar, soda ash, and a few other things.
Totally natural, no perfumes, bleach, harsh detergents.
We use it to clean glass 100% clean to do reverse guilding on windows. It also takes off all stubborn water spots on vehicle glass. I use it on all my dive masks and have for years.
It's cheap and simple.

Bon Ami won't scratch glass.
I've been using it for years, I would know.

For $7/400g can is worth a try. I ordered a can from Amazon. It’ll arrive by Wednesday (day after tomorrow). Will report the result afterwards. 🙏

CLR is designed for these kinds of lime scale deposits. Its 2 different acids, lactic and gluconic (not acetic like vinegar). Takes about 2 minutes.

If you watch the video I posted in post #8 on page 1, they are not referring to CLR. They are referring to CRL, which contains hydrofluoric (HF) that dissolves glass.

I notice the stubborn white residues on my mask lens are uneven. So, I’m not sure if they are lime scale. 30% vinegar (acetic acid) doesn’t remove the residue.
