Sorry, not a Q about a movie but - does anyone know of any (free or cheap) apps that can be downloaded on an IPAD that might be similar to swimming through a Finding Nemo set? I am not a gamer & not competitive. I am just looking for something to "relax" with during small (or long) gaps of time during the upcoming winter months. (Yes, we have 3 dive trips planned, but our winters are loooooong).

I have heard the name "Fishdom" but nothing about how it works. I really don't want to "earn" rewards, hunt through scenarios, do a lot of math configuations, etc, just "swim" through visual reefs, drift dives, go through wrecks, etc - as if I was diving (when I can't).

Is there anything out there like this? If so, where is it available (ie., Apple app store). Thanks!

Not free and not iPad, but for Playstation4, in case others are also looking for a relaxing diving-related game. My son has been playing this a fair amount. From what I've seen, it's *very* "zen" most of the time.

Downloadable for PS4 from the PSN store, $19.99

(disclaimer: I work for Playstation, but not on this title)

Fishdom seems to just be another bejeweled/candy crush type of game, not really a scuba/swimming thing.

For the iPad I found one called "Scuba Diving Adventure" by Donald Nelson for about $1.35 that might be close to what you're looking for. I haven't tried it or anything but there doesn't seem to be much else in the way of 'swim around and look at pretty things' apps.

If you can expand to PC games... and expand your budget, Abzu is also available on PC (Windows) through Steam, it has been getting some very good reviews, it might be worth a look. Also Subnautica can be set to a 'creative' mode that lets you just swim around and do whatever, it's another game in the $20 range though.

Pinecube, thanks. I will look into those you mentioned. Sounds like Fishdom is not What I was looking for. . .
