Hey,

Just a bit of a quick question for some Sydney members; What would you expect to pay to have 2 x MK25/s600 regs serviced (Both set up for singles w R190/R390 Octos, SPG/Wireless) and 1 x MK2plus with only an SPG?

My LDS just charged me AUS $428.00 for the privilage. Should I feel ripped?

$430 for 2 sets of regs??? if yes then thats a bit steep - what was their explaination for the cost?

my sherwoods usually cost me about $150 each per service

i use Dave Thomas (nice guy) as he has lots of Sherwood kits and unlike my lds, he loves my sherwooods whereas the lds always gives me BS about parts being unavailable blah blah blah

edit: ahhh 3 sets of regs... maybe its just me but i would have thought $150 per set is reasonable

So you had 3 sets of regs serviced?

Not sure what brand tour regs are or if you get free parts.

My wife and my regs usually run to about $110 each for their annual service (US divers and Oceanic), both are still covered by their lifetime free parts.

I know that without the free parts the cost can escalate, so I don't think the price you were charged was excessive, but then I have been wrong in the past (often)

I have to go in and get them, and I will be asking for a full run down, it didnt cost me that much last year, and that was for a set of Aqualung regs... (They are a SP dealer) so i will ask.
