Hang loose.. update info coming. I've made arrangements to stay with Jen, so that helps out significantly. I've also read, somewhere in my plethora of email recieved over the past few days (I only have net access at work right now) that there is a shore dive location change. Nothing drastic, but enough of a difference to need to be posted. I should have this information up this week.

Ya know, I look forward to this event VERY much - I haven't really had a break in weeks and this will be one of those autopilot type of things I can relax at

Here's my thought on this matter.... Colin has gone WAY out of his way to make all of this happen for us at a price everyone can afford. He continues to dedicate his own personal time researching things to keep the Florida Conch Divers an active group and not just a name(free of charge might I add). Because of the recent hurricane, his family may not be able to attend this function that He put together for us to enjoy. My suggestion, after doing the math(its going to run close to $400 to get them here, kept them here,and send them back), if all 14 families (couples counting as one) that signed up for this event pulled together $25 each, we could ensure Colin and his family would be able to come without worry.

I hope this doesn't offend him, his family, or anyone else (seeing how I failed to ask permission) and if it does, sorry :10: ! If you’re in, please respond ASAP, as we will need to get this together quickly.

OK.. I was chewed out for considering staying anywhere but at VillaMar, which is sort of becoming Conch Headquarters for us out of towners. I'll be honest in saying that my wife and I are completely flattered that ya'll are considering taking up a collection to make sure we can make it (kris's preggy emotions had her crying and speechless and everything). Now that we finally have power/phone/i-net all back and functioning without interruption, Kris is going to check the budget to find out how much the hurricane put us into a bind.. Oh yeah, and I haven't forgotten about doing the updates, but if you can't tell by the time of this post, time hasn't been on my side - It'll get there, I promise!
