Well, I have been just hanging around and watching this thread waiting for my schedule to clear up. The bad part is that my Keys trip has been cancelled for Labor Day. The good part is that I am now able to make this trip. I am sending a check in tomorrow for myself and son. We will be doing the all the events on Saturday and Sunday. Will also be donating to the "fund" which is a worthy cause.

I finally got my life back to normal. Charlie kind of kicked my arse. Cbulla, I know how you feel, we are all in that same boat. Because of the hurricane, my wife and son are not going to be able to come along, but I am still trying to make the trip. I have a question, are we still doing the shore dive in North Hollywood and the boat dive in Deerfield? Please give me some directions comming from Orlando or an address so I can look it up.

Since I haven't heard anything, and since I will be out of the office all day tomorrow diving :monkeydan , I thought I would post the directions that I received from Rose. Here ya go.

All SCUBA divers need to be certified and show their certification cards
prior to diving and boarding the boat. SCUBA divers need to supply ALL their
own gear, including tanks, as well as flags for the beach dive. (One flag
per group of four divers is acceptable.)
SCHEDULE:
Saturday, SEP 4, morning beach dive at The Boulders Artificial Reef,
Hollywood. Be there by 8:30am for a 9am dive.
Saturday, SEP 4, afternoon REEF Fish Id class from 1pm to 4pm at Dixie
Divers in Deerfield Beach
Sunday, SEP 5, morning 2-tank boat dive aboard Lady Go Diver in Deerfield
Beach. Be there by 7:45am for an 8:15am departure.
Sunday SEP 5, afternoon REEF Level 2 fish quiz for those who are interested
following the dive.
DIRECTIONS:
The Boulders is located off North Hollywood Beach Park at the east end of
Sheridan St. in Hollywood. From I 95 exit Sheridan and go east all the way
to the end of the road, crossing over the Intracoastal Waterway bridge.
Park in the beach parking lot. Please note there will be a fee for parking.
Dixie Divers is located at 1645 SE 3rd Ct, in the Cove Shopping Plaza, on
the west side of the Intracoastal Waterway on Hillsboro Blvd. Ph
954-420-0009, or 1888-722-DIVE. Please contact them if you need to rent
gear.
Lady Go Diver is located in the Cove Shopping Plaza, in the marina where
Dixie Divers is located.
