Got some help from another member locating a set of LP72’s. Need to get a current hydro on them. Would like the + stamped back in too. One is a 1971 the other 1969. Anyone the REE for these, or where I can get it? Thank you in advance

Note while most equal shops accept that doc a few freak out because of the typo 3AA250 vs 3AA2250.
Good to know thank you. I am actually going to take the cylinders directly to thunderbird cylinder and save 40.00. It right down the road from work. Don’t need a dive shop to charge me to take them there. I am certified to do my own VIP’s and fills. Have my own compressor. So hopefully thunderbird cylinders is aware of the typo. But knowing that and bringing it up if needed is good stuff to have ahead of time. So again thank u for the heads up. I missed it

Any chance you'd have the REE for a PST steel 96? They were rated 3000 psi, I think 96.2 cf nominal, manufactured around mid 80's.
Anyone?

Shops vary. One local hydro place will only + rate PST LP72s, another will do PST or Norris, neither will + rate a Kidde cylinder. The document upthread is a PST document. Whether any particular hydro shop will apply the REE to cylinders from other makers depends on their interpretation of the regulations.

It is my experience that trying to talk sense to a hydro shop is an exercise in futility.

I called them years ago. "We threw all that stuff out when we got out of the business." LITERALLY.

And apparently, the DOT never has required that information to be submitted, recorded, or archived anyplace. But if you know any hydro shops that have keep good logs and have them on file going back forty years....those log books might have the numbers too. :)

Someone, somewhere, still has some old paperwork. Or perhaps not.

If you have your own compressor why worry about the plus just get a copy of the hydro results and figure it out yourself. That is what I do.
