I have a few Faber 15L and 18L tanks. They came to me with a soft nylon netting that has a drawstring on the top and bottom. Here in North America, I can only find the plastic shipping kind in many colors or a bag style with a drawstring at one end. Any help is appriciated. Attached are a couple photos on the ones I have along with a photo off the internet.
I know these protector covers are not popular with many of you. None the less please help me source a double drawstring tank protector. In hopes of not getting off topic, I also know these CE Faber's are comonly not filled or hydroed here in America. I have access to a hydro facility that will hydro M25x2 without applying thier RIN stamp and I vis and fill them myself at home. TIA!

Kind of a bummed no one knows where these soft nets come from. :(

Generally bad for the cylinder.
Would somebody be kind enough to elaborate?

Here in Europe they are very common and I can't see any negatives. The only problem I can see is if they would trap water between the net and the boot at the bottom of the tank - something that doesn't happen as the net is made of braided nylon string that lets air/water through it. Hence the net actually helps drying the water in the boot faster as it creates a wider gap between the boot and the tank for water to drain faster and air to circulate through.

To the op, any decent dive equipment shop here in Europe has them.
Eg here: Scubapro Flaschennetz Universal, schwarz, 17,00 €
Even the (German) Amazon has them (search for scuba bottle nets or something)
No idea for shops that would ship to the US

Yes mate but the water doesn't drain faster, it sits with all the other acquired detritus in the string for days

Not really. Without the net, the gap between the boot and the tank is very narrow, trapping inside humidity for days and sand/dirt potentially for ever.
With the net on the other hand, the gap is bigger hence air circulates through it and dirt can escape. Whatever water is in there dries within hours or a couple of days max even in winter. Dirt can be a problem but as the contact area between the tank and the net is minimal (a small fraction compared to the contact area between the tank and the boot), damage is also small.

You should get on the net mate, Scubapro did some
Thank you. adding the word Scubapro to my "tank net" search helped me find what I am looking for. Unfortunately once I put in North America for my region it all goes away. These are not on the USA Scubapro website. In fact I can not find a single USA distributor that lists these. Thank you for helping me find out what it is I am looking for. My quest now will be to find a source here in the USA.

You probably will not find a source in the USA. Your best bet is to find them in the UK or elsewhere, buy them, shipped to a friend in the UK, then when they come to the USA visit you bring them along (or if not visiting you have them mail them to you from the UK or US).
