I dove in Padang Bai with Gekko Dive - a few years ago now but they were good, had a great local guide that could find anything you wanted - sharks, turtles, cuttlefish, octopi - and an English instructor whose name I forget but was a nice guy & good diver (probably moved on by now anyway). Good shop with drinks, snacks and free wifi, and decent boats. Used my own gear so can't comment on that but they seemed fully stocked with rental gear. Did a few dives in/around PB with them and also a day trip (two dives) over to Manta Point (success!) and Crystal Bay. Recommended

Dived with them few yrs ago. The Mola Molas were great and the dives were relatively deep(rec standard) and cold.

Am I allowed to recommend my own shop?
Thanks to you guys for the recommendations.
We have been investing heavily in new rental gear and renovations. 10 new BCDs, 15 new pairs of fins, 10 new Apeks regulators and lots of wetsuits have been added to the collection in July. The dive shop is looking as pretty as ever with new rinse/shower/drying areas, classroom and toilets. Next step down the line is to get a new compressor with a large filtration tower and a Nitrox filling station. The spirit and the crew are unchanged.
