Kevrumbo:
Thank You my new Cyber Dive-Buddy & Friend!:winky:
Kudos to you for bringing out some of the heavy hitters from the Tech Dive Forums with some good info. --and with somewhat civil attitudes to boot as well!
I'm surprised that the Boogeyman, MHK himself, hasn't materialized here yet (don't invoke his name three times! Michael Kane. . . Michael Kane . ..Michael ~~:vampire:)

You  Not MK! I've already been around and around with him over cave diving in a swimthrough. If you're really my buddy, take back that incantation!

TSandM:
Maybe we'll look back on this argument in ten years with amusement.
I'm amused right now. :D

The more I read all this...ah, information, the more I like the parameters of the class I'm in right now. The trimix / deco planning is for dives from 100-150', doubles, one stage. A good bridge from rec to tec.

That was Mike Ferrara (not Micheal Kane)

It was both. And that was rough, especially when you changed my quotes! :D

TheRedHead:
Everyone was ganging up on me and it hurt my feelings and I started to cry....especially when you changed my quotes! :D
Get over it already.

RH, since you use the GAP Deco Program, here's the derived "RGBM On-the-Fly" algorithm alluded to earlier, for square profiles or depth averaged profiles in the 80-110fsw range:
http://www.dekodive.bloguje.cz/147339_item.php
Here is a dive I would do on 32% OR 30/30 Triox using the above:
100 - 30 mins
40 - 1 min
30 - 3 min
20 - 10 min

Compare to Soggy's (Minimum Deco as taught by GUE and 5thd-x):
http://www.scubaboard.com/showpost.php?p=1851083&postcount=160
32% OR 30/30:
100 - 30 mins
50 - 1 min
40 - 1 min
30 - 1 min
20 - 1 min
10 - 1 min

As you can see Minimum Deco will get you out of the water sooner (buoyancy and ascent control using this model is extremely critical), while RGBM in this instance seems to be more conservative and comparatively forgiving. Suggest you use whichever you feel comfortable with, while using your proprietary GAP Program as a sanity check.
