I have recently aquired a poseidon possibly cyklon regulator which is red in colour, i have been told its quite rare i was wondering if anybody could shed some light on the matter? if it is for a specific type of diving or if it is literally just the colour which is different? im new to diving so may sorry if im being too vague.
cheers

Is it a metal body with a red "hockey puck"? Or is the whole body red plastic?

I've seen some metal ones with the red puck. Only in pictures though. I know they make black and yellow plastic ones now. Can't be that hard to mold a different color plastic.

I have seen pictures of an older Jetstream 2nd stage that was blue. Poseidon made some regs for a Japanese company in the past that were blue and had a different logo on the front. Much like they currently do for Dive Rite.

Your Red one may be something similar.
