Question: Apollo AV1/AV2 navigation console, screw thread

Hi

Does someone by chance know which screw thread the attachment point for the navigation console is (the one approx mid and on top of the body) for an Apollo AV1/AV2 (AV?). I tried some metric but they do not seem to fit.

Dont recall much of the specifics, we sold the one we had 5 or 6 years ago. If you haven't already, make sure the threads as the clean. Otherwise a proper sized bolt wont thread in.

You could try taking to a hardware store or auto mechanics shop. Both will have a lot of different sized bolts.

M6/1.25 migth indeed fit but it turned out that it is acutally a 1/4 - 20 UNC, same as in any camera tripod mount
