DivingPrincessE thanks for the info. And no I wouldn't do the shelter thing :no :D

Johnny, what if she went on Southwest under his seat????? She is still small and I can buy one of those puppy carriers.

I can hardly fit my small backpack under the seat in front of me....now you're gonna stuff a puppy under there:confused::coffee:

I worked in an animal clinic for four years and I don't really see any boxer in her at all. She looks like a pure Pitbull...or if she is AKC certified it would be called "American Staffordshire Terrier" which is basically the same thing but without the "scary" pitbull title (and sometimes they are teeny tiny bit bigger). Whatever you do, do NOT bring her to a shelter if you can't find a home for her. Most shelters around here (an I believe many nationwide) cannot adopt out pitbulls or even pitbull mixes. They will keep them for 10-14 days then euthanize them. Non-profit animal rescue groups don't have that regulation though...so if worse comes to worse take her somewhere like the humane society.

Yup, definitely an APBT. I'm associated with a APBT rescue here in KS/MO, so if it turns out you cannot find her a home, I can check to see if we know of any organizations in your area. I'd take her but I have two APBTs already and a third we're fostering. She's a cutie. Good luck finding her a good home.

Thanks. Appreciate it.

Johnny, Uncle Jim could always put the person in the center seat under the seat and let the pup have the chair :D

you could dress the puppy in clothes and if you put her in a wheelchair pepole will be too PC to say anything when you sit her on the seat

but look at this face folks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! she needs a new home.... she knows she is being kicked to the curb so someone must be able to fall in love with this puppy and take her home

(its the guilt thing again Miss.. gotta play it up!)

I work in a vet clinic, and I dont see boxer either. She looks pure pit to me. When you get the two breeds together, you can see the difference, but I see how they could be confused apart. Shes going to be a very pretty girl, and a sweet one too from the looks of it! :D

Actually looking forward to meeting her this week! Can't wait to take all the kids for a swim....

(we need a Cabana Boy smilie)

we have lots of homeless people here, too, btw... although, securing the plane ticket can be quite tricky. :)

Now THAT is funny Almity! I have to take her for shots before she can fly (duh, don't know what I was thinking). My uncle left today. I am to send her to him in two in weeks, fingers crossed nothing changes. In the meantime, I need to get her proper weight to figure the cost of shipping her. Johnny, has already looked into some places that will do the shipping :D

Update on her; she is definitely a purebread. Her mom accidentally broke the end of her tail when she was young so... I guess since she couldn't show or was damaged, per say, no one wanted her. She is a right little doll. Loves to cuddle and is learning new stuff everyday. :D

Final note on Chloe:

My uncle's friend was in town for the WVA/USF game. With that in mind we got Chloe a ticket and she went home with him today. :)

Thank you everyone for your support, ideas, and help.

BTW, her name has been changed to Sally (my Uncle's ex's name :rofl3:)

Us on the way to the airport today:
