They screwed me and charged me for a breakfast that was supposed to be included in the room rate. And did some funky canceling my credit card payment and recharging my card for mysterious reasons.I stayed at Hotel Tesoro (aka Tesoro Los Cabos), about a 5min walk away from Cabo Private Guide. I want to make my reply to your question very clear to you and to the world: DO NOT STAY AT HOTEL TESORO: THEY STOLE MY MONEY. Long story short, they owe me a refund for something. But their refunds system was having technical difficulties, so they told me, "Please allow us some days to get this fixed." And then, "The status is still as pending, the refund is still in process". And then, "Please allow us one day more to check with Accounting and verify, we thought the refund was processed already." 5 phone calls, 23 emails, and 9 months later, they still owe me $1300.
As you can tell @Wants2divemore, this situation is still pretty upsetting to me...
It’s Mexico.
The hotel itself is pretty nice, not too expensive, well located, and the breakfast, on the roof, next to the rooftop pool, was tasty.
